ХРИСТОС ВОСКРЕС
Христос Воскрес! Розбіглися військові,
І на молитві Друзів мовчазній
Просив Він вчити заповідь Любові,
Усіх людей учити миру, не війні.
Христос воскрес, як тихо всі чекали.
Його не вбили фарисеї і цвяхи.
Солдатам, що Його розп’яли,
Ісус пробачив всі гріхи.
Христос воскрес й піднявся аж до неба,
Став Світлом кожної душі.
Він серед нас, він, Друже, поряд тебе,
У Дусі радісно диши.
Христос воскрес! Ми молимось, щасливі,
Нас можновладці не ведуть на смерть у бій.
Затихла зброя і спинились війни…
Продовж, Ісусе, цю мить миру назавжди!
CHRIST IS RISEN
Oh, Christ is risen! Soldiers have fled;
He came to Friends, they settled in silent worship.
He asked the commandments of Love to spread,
To teach all nations life in peace, not war.
Oh, Christ is risen, as all waited in the stillness.
Neither nails nor Pharisees could take His breath.
Even the soldiers who sought His blood to spill,
Jesus forgave the crucifiers, came alive from death.
Oh, Christ is risen, He ascended to the skies,
Inspired the inward Light within each soul.
He is among us, Friend, before your eyes;
Breathe in the Spirit, joyful and hopeful.
Oh, Christ is risen! Pray with joy in one accord!
No rulers lead us now to senseless bloodshed.
All battles and weapons silenced, stillness is restored…
